Why An Energy Audit?
Many homeowners accept discomfort and high energy bills as just part of life. But with a professional home energy audit, it’s possible to enjoy consistent indoor comfort across all seasons — without the sky-high utility bills.

Is Your Home Telling You It Needs an Energy Audit?
If you experience any of the following, your home could benefit from an energy audit:
- Drafty rooms
- Hot or cold upstairs
- Constantly running HVAC
- Rising energy bills
- Humidity or poor indoor air quality
What Is a Home Energy Audit?
An energy audit is a comprehensive evaluation of your home’s energy use. Using tools like blower doors and thermal cameras, certified experts identify where your home is losing energy — and what upgrades will help fix it.
- Upgraded insulation
- Air sealing
- Replacement windows & doors
- HVAC upgrades
Is There a Best Time of Year?
There's never a wrong time to get an energy audit — but it’s smart to schedule one right after a heating or cooling season. That way, improvements can be made in the off-season, just in time for your next high-demand period.
Why Get a Home Energy Audit?
Performed by certified BPI GoldStar contractors, our energy audits are thorough, professional, and completely free. With our analysis, your home can become:
- Environmentally friendly
- Energy efficient
- Affordable to heat and cool
- Quiet
- Comfortable
- Healthy
What Are Insulation & Air Sealing?
Insulation traps heat or cool air inside your home, while air sealing blocks unwanted drafts and leaks. Working together, they help maintain indoor comfort and lower energy bills all year long.

Why Insulation & Sealing Matter
Without proper insulation and sealing, your home could be losing energy through the roof, walls, doors, and windows. That means higher bills and less comfort — especially during extreme weather.
- Consistent indoor temperatures
- Lower heating and cooling costs
- Reduced wear on HVAC systems
- Quieter, more comfortable living
How We Improve Your Home
We inspect key areas like attics, walls, windows, and basements for air leaks and energy loss. Then we install quality insulation and seal gaps using trusted materials to lock in comfort and efficiency.
Signs Your Home May Need It
- Drafts near windows or doors
- Uneven temperatures across rooms
- High energy bills in summer or winter
- Old or damaged insulation
What Is a Boiler Heating System?
A boiler heating system uses hot water or steam to heat your home through radiators or baseboards. It’s reliable and long-lasting — but outdated systems can drive up energy bills and require constant repairs.

Is Your Boiler Working Too Hard?
Older boilers waste energy and provide uneven heat. Upgrading can lower bills, improve comfort, and reduce maintenance.
- Quieter, cleaner performance
- Consistent heat in every room
- Lower energy bills
- Fewer repairs and better safety
A Simple Upgrade, Often at No Cost to You
We assess your current system and, if you qualify, upgrade it through NYSERDA or similar programs. Our certified team handles installation, clean-up, and testing — making the process hassle-free.
When to Consider Replacing Your Boiler
- Your system is over 15 years old
- Heating is uneven or inconsistent
- Noises like clanking or banging
- Rising gas bills each winter
- Frequent restarts or shutdowns
Why Roof Leaks Matter
Even small roof leaks can lead to major problems. Water damage, mold growth, and energy loss are just a few of the costly issues that can result if a leaking roof is ignored.

Is Your Roof Leaking?
Watch for these warning signs — they could indicate a roof leak or related issue:
- Water stains on ceilings or walls
- Missing or damaged shingles
- Dripping or pooling water in attic
- Mold, mildew, or musty odors
- Sudden spike in heating or cooling bills
What’s Included in a Roof Leak Inspection
We conduct a thorough inspection of your roof structure, flashing, attic, and ventilation systems to find the root cause of any leaks — and help prevent future ones.
- Shingle and flashing inspection
- Attic moisture check
- Ventilation assessment
- Thermal imaging (if needed)
When Should You Schedule a Roof Check?
It’s smart to inspect your roof at least once a year — especially after major storms, winter freeze-thaw cycles, or before selling your home.
Why Fix Roof Leaks Early?
Addressing roof leaks early prevents costly structural damage and protects the health, safety, and energy efficiency of your home.
- Prevent mold and mildew
- Avoid structural rot
- Lower long-term repair costs
- Preserve insulation efficiency
- Protect your home's value
